The SHIKAKU at ISSEY MIYAKE SHINJUKU presents an event, “BRAND NEW DAY” by PLEATS PLEASE ISSEY MIYAKE.

From Wednesday, 6 August, we will launch a limited-edition series titled “BRAND NEW DAY,” featuring prints of various women by illustrator Hikaru Ichijo.

The series features works drawn by illustrator, Hikaru Ichijo, depicting scenes from a day in the life of women wearing PLEATS PLEASE ISSEY MIYAKE; from dashing out the door in the morning, to relaxing at the window by night. The lineup includes special items such as tank tops, dresses, and T-shirts that incorporate the women’s figures and the backgrounds of the illustrations into patterns.

In addition, also from 6 August, an installation that lets you experience the world of BRAND NEW DAY will be on display at SHIKAKU in ISSEY MIYAKE SHINJUKU and at Isetan The Space. At the venue, you can experience what feels like stepping right into the illustrations. We hope you look forward to it! ISSEY MIYAKE SHINJUKU and ISETAN THE SPACE.
