BRAND NEW DAY

The limited series, “BRAND NEW DAY” will be released.

The series features works drawn by illustrator Hikaru Ichijo, depicting scenes from a day in the life of women wearing PLEATS PLEASE ISSEY MIYAKE; from dashing out the door in the morning, to relaxing at the window by night.

BRAND NEW DAY series includes vests, dresses, T-shirts and bags with five different illustrations by Hikaru Ichijo. The lineup will also include crop tops, trousers and large-sized MADAME-T stoles in the patterns featured in the background of each illustration.

Hikaru Ichijo

Active as an illustrator since 2018. Ichijo strives for colour expression based on printing techniques and graphic illustrations. By not depicting faces, her intention is to not judge people based on predetermined standards of beauty. She works extensively on book covers, illustrations, advertisements, and packaging.
