PLUMAGE

This series is inspired by the organic gradation seen in bird wings, expressed through hikizome brush dyeing. The use of blended yarn combining recycled polyester and organic ramie creates a natural unevenness in the colour due to differences in the dyeing, giving an appearance of depth in the hue and fabric. The colouring is finished through subtle blurring adjustments by skilled artisans and fast brushwork. Two colour options evoking plumage are available in a lineup of four items that includes a jacket, bottoms, and a shirt.
