HOGUSHI

A shirt series characterised by its “Hogushi Kasuri” textile. The Hogushi Kasuri technique involves printing the pattern on warp threads that have been temporarily woven, and then weaving the textile while unraveling the warp threads and omitting the weft threads. The slight displacement of the threads during the main weaving process gives the pattern a blurred look. The light fabric combines the luster of silk with the smooth texture of cotton.
