PAPYRUS

A series made from cloth characterized by its natural texture that is inspired by papyrus, an ancient form of plant-based paper. Its delicate translucency and rich colour depth are achieved by weaving together three types of threads, each dyed in subtly different tones. The loosely woven fabric reveals a grid-like arrangement of strap-like fabric strips, which also function as buttonholes.
