The HOMME PLISSÉ ISSEY MIYAKE Autumn Winter 2025/26 collection, LITHOLOGY: The Curious Stones, draws inspiration from observations about stones and their formation. The raw beauty of a stone’s shape, colour, and texture is captivating, as it piques a sense of curiosity. By integrating the diverse, multifaceted characteristics of stones into clothes-making, this collection is an aggregate of substantial materials expressed through pronounced forms and earth inspired tones.

AGATE

Rocks are formed through the accumulation of minerals over millions of years. AGATE is a print series inspired by the exquisite layers of buildup on a stone’s surface and interior. The vibrant, mesmerizing, pattern is created by layering paints and pressing them with uneven force, reminiscent of nature. This series is available in a wide variety of styles, from tops and trousers to accessories.

CAVITY COAT

Caves are formed by natural erosion and/or volcanic activity. CAVITY COAT translates the hollows of caves into its design. The coat features a double layered construction and large openings on both sides. The fabric, which is soft with some give, offers a sense of lightness. The hem, when folded upward, transforms into two large pockets.

STONE CLOUD

Rocks take on a wide variety of shapes depending on their formation process and environment. STONE CLOUD adapts the fluid, rounded forms of smooth stones to create garments that are assembled into curved designs. Each style in this series is completed (and can be further transformed) by layering and fastening buttons together. This design allows for various ways of wearing, conveying qualities of lightness and softness, like those of a cloud.

QUARRY

QUARRY is inspired by the utilitarian workwear worn in mines and quarries, featuring a simple silhouette with many pockets.

WOOL LIKE LIGHT

WOOL LIKE LIGHT features a melange fabric inspired by the depth and warmth of wool. The wool-like texture bears resemblance to rocky surfaces. The series is available in three styles: coat, jacket, and trousers.

CASHMERE WINTER GEAR

CASHMERE WINTER GEAR is made of cashmere, for a soft and comfortable texture. The rounded designs can be arranged in multiple ways, enabling different styling options. This winter series is available as balaclavas, scarves, and gloves.
