The first coat in the world to use Ultrasuede®, a 100% plant-derived polyester material developed by Toray Industries Inc., as clothing fabric. Leveraging the material’s property that allows for raw-cut edges, a cutting technique rarely used in garment making was used to create a gradation pattern of dots in millimeter-scale size variations. The coat was designed to give a unique impression and be lightweight.
